Blake Griffin had an amazing play last night but I think ESPN is going a little crazy asking if it was the best dunk of “ALL-TIME”.
“All-Time” dude??? It might not even be dunk of the year so far and they’re hyping it up like that. Hell some might argue it wasn’t even a dunk, it was more of a throw in, you be the judge:
Amazing? Yeah but does it top LBJ’s one handed alley-oop over J.Lucas’s head???
Damn! I was hollerin’ in my house when this dunk happened on Sunday. So far these are the candidates for dunk of the year.
Back to this best dunk ever stuff, I can think of at least 5 dunks off the top of my head that were nastier than Blake’s, not counting LBJ’s dunk vs Chicago.
In no particular order, here’s what I came up with….
T-Mac on Bradley - Dunked on a 7’6″ dude (no throw in’s), in the playoffs, on the road…nastiness
Vince Carter on 7’2″ Weiss – Do I really need to explain???
Vince on Zo – I was at this game and I screamed like somebody shot me, then I jumped up and ran around the arena in my post-surgery knee brace lol
Shaq on David Robinson – Shaq destroys the hall of fame center
Jordan on Ewing – In my eyes, best dunk ever in an NBA game
Why not…Pippen on Ewing lol – Not only did he shit on Ewing, he told Spike Lee to sit his ass down lol
Amare over Tolliver – One of the best calls ever on a dunk “That was SAVAGE!”
D-Rose over The Warden – Ewwwww
Shawn Kemp on Lister – The Lister Blister! Kemp was a bad boy!
So yeah, it was a great play but get outta here with that “best dunk ever” stuff.
