Ok, I know I was down on the team last week. Admit it, your ass was too!!! Anybody who watched that Arizona game and told you that they thought the Dolphins would not only beat the Pats, but straight SUPLEX they ass, is full of you know what. Those same people need a bowl of that new cereal on the market…
While I didn’t expect the win, I’m ecstatic about it. Joey Porter finally backed up some of that noise he talks. Its kind of hard to run ya mouth when you’ve won 1 game, but the kid came through with 3 sacks! He was right, “if it aint Brady, It aint hard”. The Pats look lost w/o Brady on offense and Randy Moss is just about ready to shut it down. Too many of my buddies give all this credit to Belichick, basically saying you can plug any QB back there and the Pats will win. Bullshit!!! Brady sees things other QB’s don’t see. While Cassell looks at Moss running down the field with a corner on his hip and a safety shading over and thinks, “hell no, time for the dump off”. Brady will let that thing fly and allow Randy to do what Randy does
Aside from the offensive problems, wtf happened to New England’s vaunted defense? Ronnie Brown ran wild on them kids!!! 3 TD’s running the same damn play, ran some dude slapass over on another one, then he threw for one all in the same damn game!!! This is what I’ve been waiting for since I found out we had both Ronnie and Ricky in the backfield. Get the ball in these dude’s hands and let them go to work. I guess the coaching staff needed time to figure out their personnel but isn’t that what training camp is for?
Anyway, i don’t wanna rain on the parade, but I also don’t want to read too much into this victory. I’m just glad they didn’t wait until they were 14-15 games into the season to win one. As good as they looked vs the Pats, they looked like pure gaabage against Arizona. They have a bye week and you have to wonder which Dolphin team is going to show up next game. I hope they improve because with Brady out, there’s no dominate team in the AFC East. Buffalo is 3-0 but they should’ve lost to the Raiders. The Jets got lit up on Monday night football and Brett Favre old ass is forgetting the plays. If not for a break here or there they could have lost to the Fins. So there’s a chance, albeit slim, there’s a chance.
The next step would be for Ted Ginn to have himself a breakout game and show some of the talent and athleticism that got him drafted #9 in the damn draft. C’mon Ted, they’ve taken your punt return duties away because you’re averaging like 3 yards a return. I’m hoping he develops more before the season ends.
All Dolfans, lets enjoy this win and lets not get our hopes TOO high. I still don’t think we’re making the playoffs but I’m hoping they prove me wrong.
