Game 2 NBA Finals

I can’t begin to tell you how funny it was to see how upset Kobe Bryant was on the court in Game 2…

 Dude looks upset

But I don’t blame him. I am by no means a Kobe fan, but I think that might have been the worst officiated game of the playoffs. Its the NBA finals and Kobe is on the bench with 2 fouls which were, in my opinion, horrendous calls. If I’m a casual fan and I’m tuning in to watch the game, I’m tuning in to see the stars be stars. Kobe getting two fouls in the 1st qtr is not what the NBA wants to see. I’m rooting for KG and I don’t want Lakers fans to have any excuses when the Big 3 wins the title.
That being said, I would not want to be a Boston Celtic in game 3 in L.A. Everything balances out, so please believe Kobe and the Lakerswill have a huge advantage in tonight’s game. The refs will definitely be looking to make up for what happened Sunday night. Do not be surprised if KG or Pierce goes out early with a couple of fouls and the Lakers will probably shoot more freethrows in game 3 than they’ve shot this entire series.
Also, I’m going to need Boston to learn how to play with a damn lead! This is the 3rd or 4th time they’ve had a big lead in the playoffs and for whatever reason, they take their foot off the gas. they had a chance to snatch the hearts out of the Lakers and blow them out. Instead, they gave Kobe and Phil Jackson something positive to build on as they go home for game 3.
This series is no where near over yet. All Boston did was win their home games. They’ve held serve and now its time to show what a champion is made of and win on the road. Can bench guys like PJ Brown, Leon Powe, James Posey carry their performances on the road and help the Big 3 win a game? If you go back to the Heat winning it all in Dallas, role players had a huge role in the clinching victory. Zo Mourning, Posey, and Antoine Walker all had huge moments on the road and thats what the Celtics will need to win in L.A.

I think they’re going to lose game 3 and the series will be 2-1. But know this, only three teams, Boston in 1969, Portland in 1977 and my Miami Heat in 2006, have overcome an 0-2 deficit to win the title.

(Can’t wait for Wade to be like this again!)

Go KG!!!
